Job description:

The Recruiting Coordinator/Candidate Support Team position is responsible for handling inquiries from WAH candidates and new hires dealing with all aspects of the interview, application, offer, and pre-employment tasks. Inquiries will be received via telephone, email, live support rooms and chat functionality. The CST must be able to navigate through several sources of documentation, including HR statuses within the applicant tracking system, to provide the candidate with correct and up-to-date information. The primary role for this position is to positively impact the candidate experience from application to full employment initiation. Secondarily, this role will interface daily with Recruiters, Operations, Training and Pre-employment staff supplying these areas with reporting and data from various systems as needed. In-depth training will be provided to ensure success. Overall goal is to minimize candidate frustration and positively impact the overall experience thereby reducing candidate fallout rate which negatively impacts all areas of the WAH recruiting process.

Required qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.

  • Ability to determine and respond to applicant/candidate concerns in a predesignated timeframe and efficient manner. These concerns can range from application questions, interview scheduling, post offer pre-employment tasks and additional candidate questions as they arise.

  • Understands all WAH recruitment process areas: application, interview, offer and pre-employment and is able to successfully translate information to candidates.

  • Understands and is able to access data and pull reporting out of various systems for delivery to stakeholders as needed.

  • Captures and documents new areas to be added to the WAH FAQ’s documentation

  • Provides a superior level of customer service to candidates to promote and foster a positive candidate experience from application to Day 1 of training.

  • Works closely with all operational partners, PE, HR, Training and other departments, to gain additional knowledge and understanding of the WAH process to accurately and effectively answer candidate questions. Ensuring that the most up to date information is communicated in a timely manner.

  • Ensures candidates understand relevant policies and processes at different phases of the WAH hiring process.

  • Communicates with operational partners and management to research problems and find solutions.

  • Communicates with management, team members and other teams regarding problems, solutions and trends.

  • Effectively communicates within all areas of candidate communication: chat, email, phone and live support rooms.

  • Appropriately responds to candidate inquiries to provide “one call” resolution.

  • Composes short written messages that directly respond to candidate questions and concerns.

  • Adheres to guidelines set for timeliness and accuracy in responding to candidate questions.

  • Understands problem resolution and the ability to identify escalations as needed.

  • May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
